Ok
this will be SUPER short, I tried to do more pictures this week since I haven´t
been able to send them for so long. :) This week was great! We had our last 2
divisions with the sisters and they both went very well. Another awesome lesson
with F... about the Restoration and he loved it!!! His baptism is
scheduled for the 20th of Feb. so we are super excited about that!!!
He is seriously so sooo prepared and feels the spirit so strongly in the
lessons. We asked him how he felt after we explained about the first vision and
he said he felt a "calorcito" (A little heat) in his chest and so
happy. He´s the best. Keep praying for him!!! Also please pray for Familia
R..., a less active family we are reactivating and preparing for the temple.
They are going through a really hard trial right now but are trying to be
strong and keep their faith. L... could also use prayers, an investigator who
wants to get baptized, but is living with her boyfriend and isn´t married. Also
R..., a less active member and her daughter, K..., who will be baptized this
Saturday!!!!!!!
We
are still seeing miracles and working so hard. The Lord is so good and blesses
us for our diligence. Last week of the transfer is already here and I can´t
believe it. It´s flown by but I have loved it...hopefully we stay together next
transfer!!!!!! I love you all sooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!! Enjoy the cold, we
are dying here in the heat. :) The church is so true and the Lord is so good to
us. I love him and I LOVE his work. :)
Hermana Cox
Ok so I finally found a computer that my camera works with!!! So I´ll send a bunch of pics this week. :)
My companion Hna. Martinez and I when we made baliadas. They are a food from Honduras...basically a tortilla with refried type beans and cheese. But she said they are better in her country because the ingredients are a little different...but I thought they were yummy! Also this is Hna. Vasquez from Ecuador. We were on a division together a few weeks ago, she is the best. :)
Leftovers of our pollo a la brasa (like rotisori chicken...wow no idea how to spell that), from our pensionista. The sisters who share our ward. Hna. Ochoa from Ecuador and Hna. Minson from Utah...i think somewhere in utah valley. :)
Another Honduranian recipe my companion shared with me...oranges with salt and a spice called camino (it smells kind of like taco seasoning). It is actually pretty yummy as weird as it sounds. :)
The temple!!!! And an awesome clock we found in the temple store. :)
Our BBQ we had last pday. Hermana Martinez and I were in charge of everything so we bought everything, cut and fried the potatoes for french fries, made the hamburgers, and everything. :) It turned out really yummy but was an adventure. :)
More BBQ. :)
Some new shorts my companion and I bought which are fun and comfy and then new shoes...not ones I would walk around all day in because they don´t have the best support, but cute for meetings and they were cheap. :)
